Announcing Greek Week 2012 Charities

 Let's get to know our Charities a bit better-

Relay For Life- It is a life-changing event that helps communities across the globe celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.

One World. One Future.- It is an organization run by a group of ambitious women determined to help their brothers and sisters around the world that are unjustifiably facing a life of slavery.  Their compassion and motivation for this cause is rooted in the empathetic realization of what a life spent voiceless and trapped in slavery would be like.  We are all given a set of tools to work with, many of which we are given at birth by no choice of our own. Friendship is what brought the women of One World One Future together and gratitude for life that they have been given fuel their desire to do what they can to make a difference.

Camp Kesem- It is a college student run summer camp for kids with a parent who has (or has had) cancer. Their one-week sleep away camps are a chance for kids 6-13 to have a fun-filled week and just be kids.

Wilkins Parkinsons Foundation- The Wilkins Parkinson’s Foundation (WPF) is dedicated to funding programs to raise awareness of Parkinson’s disease (PD).  It is the Foundation’s belief that increased awareness creates a general groundswell of support for the entire PD community, from research to patient care to education and support groups.
